Itinerary Description

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International or Arusha Airport, our friendly driver will greet you with a sign displaying your name, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome. You’ll then be comfortably transferred to a charming lodge or hotel of your choice, where your adventure begins. Later, our expert safari coordinators will conduct a pre-safari briefing, giving you an exciting overview of the journey ahead. Take some time to relax and unwind in the tranquil setting of your lodge or hotel, complete with amenities such as a swimming pool, lush gardens, a bar, and a restaurant.

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, famed for its exceptional wildlife viewing, particularly during the dry season when large herds of animals converge. The park features a diverse landscape of grassy savannahs, swamps, rolling hills, and striking baobab trees. You’ll encounter abundant elephants along with zebras, buffalo, lions, and oryxes drawn to the water sources. The park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with numerous species and the Tarangire River providing life during the dry months. After a full day of exploration, return to a comfortable lodge for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife sanctuaries. Descend into the crater for an unforgettable day of game viewing, where you may encounter leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, antelopes, and a host of smaller mammals that thrive in this unique ecosystem. The crater’s diverse landscapes harbor an impressive range of wildlife, offering surprises at every turn. After a day of exploration, spend the night within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.

After breakfast, set off for Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The Hadzabe, one of Tanzania's last remaining hunter-gatherer communities, will share their traditional way of life, showcasing their unique hunting and foraging practices. You’ll also meet the Datoga people, renowned for their intricate beadwork and metalworking skills, and gain insight into their pastoral lifestyle. This enriching cultural experience offers a deeper understanding of the diverse traditions and customs of these remarkable communities. After a day of immersion in local culture, return to your accommodation for the evening.

After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, a haven of biodiversity teeming with a variety of mammals, birds, and wildlife. The park is famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions and offers exceptional game viewing, with frequent sightings of buffalo, impalas, giraffes, bushbucks, waterbucks, hippos, and elephants near the lake. Watch for playful blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, and lively Olive baboon troops. Lake Manyara is also a birdwatcher’s dream, featuring flocks of flamingos, soaring birds of prey, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller. After an exciting day of wildlife exploration, you’ll head back to Arusha in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
